Supporting individual and collective wellbeing with body-based care

Currently in hibernation from December 2025

A note to our community of participants, program partners, and supporters

In late-2025, after 12 months of significant effort, reflection, and community consultation, it became clear to our board and leadership team that in its format, Collective Being could not overcome the persistent funding challenges.

We are therefore in a period of hibernation - a time for our team to rest, reflect, and re-strategise for the future.

We are hopeful that a different version of Collective Being will be born of this period, scaffolded by the innovation, collaboration, co-design, and community-hearted work that has made us a responsive, unique, and beloved organisation.

In the meantime, you can explore our impact, access free online practices and resources, and connect with Collective Being team members who continue to offer somatic and therapeutic work.

“I have tried many self-taught practices, meditation, counselling and courses alike over the years. I genuinely feel Collective Being's Therapeutic Movement and Mindfulness Program has been the physical and emotional component necessary for my body to recognise it is safe. I'm truly grateful.”

Free practices and resources

Over the years, we have shared many video and audio practices on Instagram and YouTube for our community to move towards rest or calm. We emphasise somatic ‘micro-practices;’ small, practical, and accessible interventions designed to interrupt the stress response and regulate emotions. These micro-practices that can be integrated into daily life - wherever they may be.

“I have felt at a loss the last few days, like I have needed something but unsure what and didn’t feel like a full on counselling session. Coming here has felt like it’s met what I was looking for. I feel a lot better.”
